Ts'ai Lun was born in China in 50 AD and died in 121 AD. He is considered one of the most influential people in history becuase he was the first to make paper and the paper making process. He first invented those two things in 105 AD. He started by taking the inner bark of the mulberry tree and bamboo fibers and would mix them with water. He would then pound the solution with a wooden hammer. He then take a flat piece of coarsely woven cloth and pour the solution on it. The water would then drain through leaving only the fibers and the cloth to dry. After it dried, it left a thin, light, and quality writing surface which we know as paper. So, Ts'ai Lun was the very first person to make paper and the paper making process.

Adventurer Abraham Levy To Row From Spain To Mexico
Mexican explorer Abraham Levy plans to embark on a 4-6 month journey from Spain to Mexico on October 12th, 2013. Levy will begin in Peurto de Palos, Spain, and end in Cancun, Mexico. He plans to travel alone and self propel the boat. His egg shaped boat is specifically designed for speed. It is made out of carbon-fiber, weighs 400 pounds, is 24 feet long, and has a 5 foot beam. It even has 10 foot carbon fiber oars and a hermetic cabin. He is inspired by Christopher Columbus. He wants to pass through the Canary Islands and the Caribbean. Levy will have a vast diet on the trip. Some of the things are: beef stew, potatoes, healthy veggies, bacon, and even cheesecake with raspberries. He will also bring a fishing rod to catch fish. Abraham is highly prepared with the best modern tech and land based support. Today, Abraham Levy, the Mexican Adventurer, is currently preparing for his toughest adventure yet.
